Gourami Mega Fish Posts: 1205 Kudos: 477 Votes: 1 Registered: 23-Apr-2002	I keep bass, blue gills and crappies in my pond. But i dont have any goldfish or koi, so i dont know how much that helps. I think that blue gills and crappies would do ok with goldfish or koi. I kept all three with godlfish indoors and had no problems.

mariosim Enthusiast Posts: 207 Kudos: 245 Votes: 20 Registered: 28-Jul-2004	goldfish, being carp, should be able to be kept with sportfish in an outdoor setup. keep inmind, alot of sport fish eat other fish. size does matter. bass, blue gills, and crappie would work if the goldfish are too big to be eaten.

Other coldwater fish are white clouds, and danios are known to tolerate lower water temperatures too. -Formerly known as the Ferretfish
