Hi all!

My 1000L pond is in shade and has no direct sunlight although my current plants still seem to thrive in it. I am looking for a plant that will grow underwater in a 'bushy' like state to simply hide the pump and hoses. I have a biological external filter and waterfall which is of course on 24hrs a day therefore plants are more of an asthetic thing in my pond. Because there are many Goldfish (who pick at them) and a constant current I am looking for a plant that HAS roots so I can put it in a pot and stay there! I have found unrooted plants often become free of the pot and end up floating on top of the water regardless of how i try to keep them in there.

Any suggestions on a rooted bushy underwater plant that will grow in shade?
