Hello,

I have inherited a pond in my new house that has not held any fish for three years. It is 1.5 metres deep and has a diameter of about three feet. I managed to get the pump working but the pond is full of debris, most notably leaves.

What would I need to do to get it to a stage whereby it could house fish?

What other fish would I be able to house in there besides Koi?

Thanks

are you sure on the measurment that you gave, gold fish and fancy gold fish do well in ponds, or you can put in White clouds or zebra danios

Cant help any on the cleaning but it seems a bit small for even fancy goldfish let alone common "feeder" goldfish. And considering the flag you have showing I'm not sure that guppies or danios or WCMM's ect will manage to winter over with how shallow the pond is.
