In a minute, someones going to come here and say a fancy goldfish need 10g each because they read it somewhere and they are going to be wrong. Fancy goldfish need to be in 55g or more, and they need 20 gallons each. What people don't get is how much waste these fish really produce... and how big they really get. I've seen a slow acceptance of inhospitable goldfish conditions here... A while ago everyone said 55g or more... then everyone said 29g or more... then some site made up that 10g per rule and everyone says that now... eventually people will say you can keep 20 in a 10g...
