Warmer water like 80degrees helps my Lionhead with swim blatter disease, the LFS told me to raise the tempature and give him peas. By the way he only has 1 eye so he is in a tank by his self. I did have another lionhead that had no eyes and he got eaten before I could get another tank for him

Nothing wrong with keeping the water warmer, alot of coldwater fish don't mind warmer water.
