Wingsdlc Fish Guru What is this? Posts: 2332 Kudos: 799 Registered: 18-Jan-2005 | Has anyone ever kept a Warmouth. They are native to the midwest as far as I know. They are much like a rock bass but are much more green and have some other color things going for them. Here is a little link about them... http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/wildlife/Fishing/aquanotes-fishid/warmouth.htm Here is another... http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=www.millevolte.com/warmouth.jpg&imgrefurl=www.millevolte.com/nativefish27.html&h=160&w=250&sz=22&tbnid=JVHsF9cqNfoJ:&tbnh=67&tbnw=106&hl=en&start=6&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dwarmouth%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN Last edited by Wingsdlc at 15-Sep-2005 00:35 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |

The big differince is they have the attitude and mouth of a Bass. The things a beast! 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |

Not beating the snot out of them but keeping them traped in the corners of the tank. My favorit part of about this fish is how he eats. Most of the time he will not just sip the food off the water but bash the crap out of it. When I said the attitude of a bass I really meant the eatting habbits. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |
