Has anyone ever kept a Warmouth. They are native to the midwest as far as I know. They are much like a rock bass but are much more green and have some other color things going for them.

Around it's mouth it does look a lot like a pumpinseed. That is part of the reason I like them. The big differince is they have the attitude and mouth of a Bass. The things a beast!

They are not a super agressive fish. He was picking on my bluegill that I was keeping with him. Not beating the snot out of them but keeping them traped in the corners of the tank. My favorit part of about this fish is how he eats. Most of the time he will not just sip the food off the water but bash the crap out of it. When I said the attitude of a bass I really meant the eatting habbits.
