Why are Lotus so expensive? | |
drrich2 Enthusiast Posts: 150 Kudos: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-May-2001 | Hi: I'm aware that American Lotus is a highly prolific plant, and I've seen sizeable beds growing at Cross Creek National Wildlife Refuge in Tennessee, wild, so evidently it's not a lot of trouble to cultivate. Yet when I see Lotus for sale, it's expensive - I've seen unpotted Lotus for close to $40 apiece, and even online even American Lotus is pricy. Any idea why? Am I missing something here? Richard. |

Water gardening is taking off and everywhere you look you can easily find water lillies and hyacinths and lettuce, but get outside of the "big three" and price just starts going up. If you search around you can get much better prices than that. Goodluck, Koi Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn. |
