I was recently out (ice) fishing and caught a very small Yellow Perch (Perca Flavescens). I put it in the bait bucket and brought it home. It's now living happily in an unheated 20 gal. tank which stays at about 68-70 degrees. It's a far cry from the 39 degree water it'd be in if it were still in the lake (hope it apreciates the tropical change). I know this fish can get big (as aquarium fish go)...has anyone kept one to full size or something close to it?

I've never kept them personally, but in my fishing experience, they get around 12 inches. I think they can withstand some low tropical temperatures, but it would be like summertime all year long for them.
