goldfish and koi | |
addictedtofish Banned Posts: 24 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Mar-2005 | Hi everyone, my grandparents are starting a pond. They were wondering how many golfish and koi they could put in a 80 gallon pond? Are goldfish and koi cappatable?(spelling). They would preffer some of each. |

koi keeper Moderator Posts: 3203 Kudos: 2033 Votes: 240 Registered: 29-Dec-2001 | Goldfish and Koi are perfectly compatible, but that pond is much too small for Koi. A few fancy goldfish would be very happy in that pond. I am hoping it is in-ground. An above-ground pond can get too hot during the day for fish.
