bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | i was looking in my lfs and i saw some nice pearl scales. now i was wondering are they suppose to be really fat or is that a health issue, as well as in 18 a good price these fish. i also think not sure but there color is calico so something. |

When I first got my pearlie I was concerned as well, but this is a fish that was literally bred to look like a golfball If they're larger than 4 inches or so, and good quality, yes that is a good price for them.
