Is that temp consistant? If so there's a lot of options for that.

According to the site...thats

Tank Capacity:
Litres: 1812.28
US Gallons: 478.8
UK Gallons: 398.7

I don't know much about goldfish, but I don't think 4 ft is big enough for a common goldfish, but if it's 4 ft wide, I don't know. What are the temperatures like down there?

Don't know what exactly australia temps are...living in the north-eastern part of america. My best bets are goldfish, I don't know if they have these there, but rosey red feeder fish are good for outdoors, they survive freezing temps no problem and their a nice bright pink. I'd also look into keeping some native fish. All those fish would be able to handle the temps. Also, what size pond will this be?

Not exactly...You can stick any fish into a pond, you just gotta make sure its big enough and they can withstand the temp. If it's indoor, then just about anything, and outside, well it depends on where ya live. Most common fish sold for ponds around here are goldfish, koi, and channel catfish.

Many coldwater fish DO live in ponds.

Now, I wouldn't exactly dump a whole bunch of white clouds in my pond...

But they aren't the same thing. Just close, and sometimes the same.

*isn't making sense*
