Would it be possible to turn my garden tub into a small indoor pond where temps wouldnt be a problem?? Tub is 5.5 feet long, 2.5 feet deep, 2.5 feet across- its oval- top of tub is bigger, bottom smaller, took measurements 1/2 way downfor length and width. possible occupants- 3 fantails ( my priority- want to get goldy a couple buddies) and if possible 3 plus dojo loaches. Would put in a liner and external filter... Im not good enough at math to calculate gallons with an oval that slopes- any help???? or atleast if it would work... |

Okay...well looks like the tub you've got is around 150 gallons. I ba The issue with using it as an indoor pond is how sturdy it is. If it's just the liner then that's designed to be supported by the ground. The stock tanks are designed to support themselves, liners as mentioned, are different. Depending on how much work you can put into it an idea would be to build a indoor garden from brick that you could fill with soil, plant with a few easy terrestrial plants and have the liner in the middle, seating around the outside..... ^_^[hr width='40%'] It only hurts when I breathe" |

And yes, I think you'd be fine with that stocking...bit tight once everyones full grown but hopefully by then you'll have managed to blast thru that sandstone la ^_^ [hr width='40%'] It only hurts when I breathe" |
