Jason_R_S Moderator Posts: 2811 Kudos: 2421 Votes: 391 Registered: 18-Apr-2001	here's a short profile of Polypterus senegalus. the fish you saw was an albino version of this species. they are awesome fish and I love them. I have a regular and albino senegalus as well as 4 other species of polypterus. these fish are also known as bichirs. I bought mine for $40 US. they are much easier to come by here in the US though, hence the much lower price. on average they probably run around $60-80 US...I got a really good deal on mine. here is the profile on Polypterus senegalus from this site.
