My vote is a school of Congo Tetras. Awesome, colourful fish that are active, fairly friendly and hardy.

The centerpiece in my 55 is currently my male blue gourami, he has some fire red on his fins, he is VERY pretty, I belive I have a picture of him at my webpage he is pushing 4 or so inches. In my 35 its a toss up between my figure 8 puffer and my orange chromide. the 20 would have to be the male creamscicle molly he has blue in his tail. And in my 29 it is defenantly my paired german blue rams, I hope to breed them when I get the new tank setup and am able to get my breeding tanks. I plan to have banks of them in the garage

I'll throw in my two cents just because, you asked...I have a 29 right now with a bunch of smaller fish (cherry barbs, harley rasboras, and platies) My centerpiece fish is my opaline gourami. She's very sweet and doesn't bother any of the little fish at all. She's pretty big about 4-5 inches, and I think she's through growing.

She's a beautiful shade of shimmery blue with black smudges and polka dots on her fins. I think I have a pic of her here (second post down):

Just a thought!!!
