I was thinking 1 oscar 1 CAE 3 angles 5 tinfoil barbs 6 pictus catfish. Could I put 10 pictus catfish and some plates. How many angles and sowardtails would go in it. what bright colored fish could I put in that tank. what combo of nice fish and bottem feeders/catfish could I put in a 100 gal tank.

A school of 60 or 70 tiger barbs would be sweet!

You are going in too different directions with this. On one hand you have the oscar, which is a large, agressive, fish. On the other you have the peaceful angelfish. You can not put the too together, but if you pick one of them, you could build a tank around that.

If you want an oscar, you can have an agressive chichlid tank. If you want the angelfish, go with a community. The community tank would have more choices of bright, colorful, fish. I think the rest of the fish would work for either one, except for the CAE. It might get agressive as it gets older.

*PLEASE* read more about your fish of choice before deciding. Oscars are aggressive, and would tear most of those fish to shreds. Angelfish are delicate and require special attention. Pictus cats, depending on the type can get very large, and like entirely different water from angelfish and oscars.

Tinfoil barbs are huge, too. With all those fish in there, it would quickly get overstocked, provided they didn't kill each other.

I think a school of 40 Neon Tetras or Cardinal Tetras would be awesome to watch, along with 10 spotted corry cats Yes, this would be beautiful and entertaining...:88)
