Well i have a betta probably not......And cichlids seem too sensitive to water conditions and i'm am still a beigginer.

So mabey a live barer or another tetra.
Also if i put my shrimp in a nother aquarium can i mabey put 3-4corys?

Cerry barbs sound ok but i rather get corys if i can becuase ther well funny and my LFS is two min away and they have a few nice corys.

Also will albino school with the other corys since there all in the same family.

A pair of cherry barbs would look nice with the neons and stand out

what about a dwarf gourami? they are a nice fish, and would fit pretty well with neons in a 10g

I wouldn't put a pair of rams in there with the neons personally.

Sure, sometimes they're OK, and sometimes they're not. I got a ram as a rescue a few years back because the girl who owned it had it in a little fishbowl at the store she worked in at the mall. (I worked in a store across the hall at the time.) When I went into her store and asked about the fish she said it had started attacking her boyfriend's tetras and he said it had to go. Well I took the little guy home and put him in with my 4" male gourami and he behaved just fine.

Building your neon school is certainly an option.

If you use the old "Guide" which I dont anyway you dont have much room to play with either three small fish total 3ins or one fish that will be compatible whith the neons and the wood shrimp.

If it is heavly planted neons/cardinals alone always look excellent in a small tank.

I don't know that
a) a cichlid would be that happy in a 10g
b) that it will be compatible with what you have stocked already.

What cichlids are you talking about? Names? Shellies can go into quite small tanks I think (but possibly not a 10g) and probably not with the existing water conditions.

All the best for your continued research.
