Whats your filteration?
And, while it might not seem related, what kind of lighting do you have?

well since it is a 10G I would say just up the glo-lights.

it's to small to fit two schooling fish, in decent numbers.

they can be a centerfish, centerfish usually are bigger and more colored and will look better in schools, so a 10 wont be good, u can increase the number of gio.

A school contains at least 6 fish so you need at least 6 glolights. 1 school of fish is hard to fit in a 10g so 2 schools of fish definitely won't fit. As for centerpiece the only thing I can think of that might fit is a dwarf gourami. That would be really pushing it and gouramis eat shrimp so that wouldn't actually work. Most other fish generally thought of as centerpiece also might pick on shrimp and there are few fish bigger and more colorful than a glolight that will fit in a 10g. 10g tanks do not make good community tanks. They make good species tanks for 1 species of fish or a couple small nonschooling species.

I also vote for a Betta. My Betta is very happy in my 10g with 7 neons.
