You're pushing the limits of your tank. However, with frequent water changes, sufficient cycling, and a very good filtration system, it will work.
Good luck.

With the corys, try and get the smallest species available. If they don't have any of the pygmy species, than most of the species in the Julii group should work.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

One thing you'll have to watch out for with that many tetras and that few sparkling gouramis is that the tetras may be to rambunctious at feeding time for the gouramis to compete for food. Make sure your gouramis get enough to eat.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

You're pushing the stocking limits & get the smallest Corydoras you can find.

Cories actually prefer a group of 6 and the smaller cories prefer company even more. You might be fine with 5 but I would not cut the number anymore. Sparkling gouramis aren't the best in pairs sometimes. 1 will often end up being a bully to the other. In a trio the agression is spread out. It does depend on the individual fish so it may or may not work.

All that in a 10 gallon tank? I think it would be overstocked. Remember, 1 inch of fish per gallon. How about 5 neons and 5 corys?

There are 3 types of dwarf cory cats that would be okay in a 10 gallon and stay under 1.5 inches: c. habrosus, c. hastatus, and c. pygmaeus. They also tend to swim a lot in the middle area, not just the bottom. Panda corys stay at about 2 inches, I think, but can be more sensitive. I read that you can have the gouramis together as long as you have lots of plants and such for hiding.

In my 10 gallon I have 4 c. habrosus, 4 rasbora espei, 2 otos and a male betta. Everyone gets along great and all levels of the tank are busy.
