Which would be the best to do and why?

It is the 11G 46Lt well planted Betta tank. My question is do I do a 50% weekly or 25% twice weekly.

I am running the Eheim Smallest Bio Ball 2206.

Both of those are much more than is needed. You need to have at least some nitrates for the plants.

Do 25% once a week, or even every other week since there is only one fish in there. Unless you are adding (nitrate containing) ferts, you may need to add more fish to the tank to keep your plants healthy.

I would do a 25% water change weekly, but even less would be fine. The Plants will suck up most of the water nasties & the Betta will be more than fine.

For a "well planted" non Co2 tank I'd do 25%........every 6 months

Top up evaporation only.

Weekly fert dosing. Couple of mls of a good liquid fert. Depending on fish load a tiny bit of KNO3 and an even tiner bit of KH2PO4. Seachem Equilibrium to keep GH up (GH = calcium which the plants will consume effectively softening the water) above 3 degrees.

Growth will be slow but very few issues and maintenance will be a doddle.

Tap water has lots of CO2, lots of water changes creates the kind of unstable Co2 levels algae really enjoys, but doesn't do much for plants. For plants cosistency is best.

If you don't like the no water change idea dose Flourish Excel to provide a stable source of carbon. Small water changes.

Water changes are primarily to dilute nitrate levels to avoid fish toxicity. The plants will take care of the nitrates, especially if you have fast growers.

I'd go with the 25-30% once a week...You didn't by chance get the September TFH did you? This tank like your others is really up to you on how much you are going to change, as long as you keep it constant If you do 50% a week, then do it every week...if you do 25% a week then do it everyweek...just be consistant...or that's my thought
