I was thinking :

6 panda cories

6 cardinal tetras

2 female bettas ( I already have in a 5 gallon at the minute )

3 ottos - to keep algae down, and because their cool, I've always wanted them.

Is this alright, or am I overstocked ?

Sounds like it will be a really enjoyable tank, and should work nicely...just keep an eye on the Betta Babes to be sure that they don't go aggressive on the others in the tank...more than likely I'm thinking you'll be good to go

Have fun heidi

It looks good, but keep an eye on the Betta's.

Could I add a porthole catfish, they only get 10cm, would this be okay, or maybe a upsidedown catfish ??

I just found out portholes need to be in shoals, how about the upside down catfish ?? Or would I be overstocked ?

I just want something that can be the centre piece fish !

Any suggestions would be great
