we have a 15g that im having a rethink on.
current stock is:

1 male beta
2 platy
4 botia striata
1 albino bristlenose.

i am thinking of adding some type of small schooling fish, possibly cardinals. do i have room for a school? and if so how big? i do have the option ofmoving the 2 platys to another tank.

If I were you, i would not get anything else for the tank. That bristlenose and the striatas are big waste producers.

I wouldn't add more fish to your current tank & if you remove the Platys, you can only add about 4 Neons or Cardinals.
