This is not the best tank for much of anything as the height is too much and the surface is minimal, but when I was at one of the local second hand stores, I found this 20 gallon hexagon, with stand, heater, top, light & filters all for only $20 I just couldn't pass it up. I've already tested it for leakage and so far so good. What do you think for stocking it ![]() Any ideas would be appreciated. Jim ![]() ![]() |

Maybe a small Asian biotope: cherry barbs, dwarf gourami, a few kuhli loaches? You could try for a female betta tank, very nice if successful. Sometimes it doesn't work out though depending on the personalities of the girls. edit: congrats on the find, you really couldn't pass that by for $20 Last edited by Theresa_M at 15-Apr-2005 06:13 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Any suggestions there ![]() I suppose I could leave the top open or just place a piece of plexi-glass cut to fit and mount some type of overhead light above the tank. The only problem with an open top tank is the potential for fish escapes ![]() As for the fish types, I'm pretty open to any suggestions, so if anyone else has some ideas let me know. ![]() Jim ![]() |
