I am fishless cycling a 20 gallon at the moment. So far I have just decided to put a peppermint bristle nose in it, but I don't know what else. Any stocking ideas including the peppermint bristle nose?

1 peppermint bristle nose

by the way I have the larger version of the Eheim pick-up internal filter, and obviously a heater.

Thanks! I need answers ASAP, I my tank is nearly finished cycling.

is it a 20 high or long? This will help us a little bit. It would also be a good idea to list some fish that you find interesting that way we have something to run with. In reallity it is your tank and you will have to live with it.

If you've already got a BN planned for it I'd keep the rest of the load lower, and mostly upper and mid dwelling fish. Even with a planted tank the waste from a BN will settle on the substrate so regular maintence, and not too many other bottom feeders that'll have to deal with it .

I'd go with a nice large school of a small schooler. Look at cardinal tetras, or white cloud mountain minnows.

I would add 2 schools of fish, 1 will be Corydoras & the other will be Tetra's. For plants, go with Anubias tied to Driftwood.
