Put the 2 Dwarf Gourami & the 3 Albino Corydoras in the new 20 gal. tank & add 3 more Albino Corydoras. You can also add some other small fish.

Just about any tetras or rasboras that will remain fairly small and school together. Plants and deco. Bam! You are done.

In the 10g you could have 6-8 neons/cardinals and a male Betta. Or 6-8 neons/cardinals and a dwarf gourami. IMO cories really don't belong in a 10g. They need a group of atleast 6 and many get too large for a 10g tank. It is good that you are moving them to the 20g. They will be very happy their and when you add the 3 more.
I think you could also add a school of small fish to your 20g. Maybe harlequin rasboras, neons or cardinals. Maybe some else can comment on this and give more suggestions.
Good luck!

For your 10 gal. tank you can have a school of 8 Glowlight, Lemon or Black Neon Tetra's, with some Plants.

i was thinking on maybe making the 10g a platy tank but dont know how many really to out in it or maybe fish about like that like mollies or guppys what you think,

and for the 20g ill put the 3 remaining corys in it and my 2 dwarf gouramis and proably add 3 more corys to have my school again but waht else should be ok for this tank and the fish thats going to go in it, i have had other fish with the gouramis didnt go well the 2 gouramis i have will team up and fight the new comer no matter if its it own kind, because i another gourami in other tank at sisters housing for me because the 2 now dont like it at all after that i stoped trying and just decided on finding bigger tank for my gumpy fighters. but hey i gotta love em LOL

If you put platies, mollies, or guppies in the 10g make sure they are all males because with females and males you will have alot of fry and they will soon overcrowd the tank. A trio of male platies or mollies or 3-5 male guppies would be good.

when dealing with mollies, if you keep them in a fairly open tank(ie no java moss, large substrate, or nooks) the fry have no where to go, and unless you pull the fry out, the mom or dad will eat their own young. if you get all male mollies they will bicker constantly and fight.

if you get one male and a couple females, neither of the females will get stressed because the male will take turns chasing them around, or just get 3 females. dont get all males, the females will get along together better. or get 4 female mollies and a male mollie, and add a south american bumblebee cat. they stay small, look like a cross between a catfish and a loach, very sleek,it will take care of any overcrowding issues in the tank by providing the fry with a new home in its belly, lol.

i dunno, i would honestly get one of the very small algae eaters or a small catfish for the bottom of the ten, then add in some tetras...there are lots of variety in tetra shapes and colors, most are hardy and easy to find at LFS's. or you could do some neon tetras in a small school and a male beta as the centerpiece fish with a small catfish for the bottom....

Well i seen in another thread that mollies get to big for a 10g, So I might just get 1 male betta and one female and see how that goes, I always got my 1g if someting goes wrong (like fighting) or might just get the male and that it since bettas are not very campatiable with other fish and he'll like the 10g alot better than those cups you buy them in and better than a 1g.

Your Betta will love his 10g. Mine does. You could put cardinals or neons in there with him. He should leave them alone.
I hope you aren't thinking about putting a male and female betta in there together. I have heard that is a bad idea unless you know what you are doing and are breeding them. The male could kill the female. You may get a better explanation of this on the advanced betta forum. I have never put them together but have read numerous posts where people said it was a bad idea. So, just think about that before you put them together.
I think just putting the male betta in there with some plants and maybe a school of cardinals is good. Or just leave him by himself to enjoy all of that space. Either way, he will be a happy boy.:%)

in your ten gallon, you should try to do some dwarf platies... they're pretty cute and lots of varieties.

OR

someone suggested to me some dwarf puffers, they seem pretty cool, http://www.dwarfpuffers.com/intro1.htm

you might check them out....

i would stay away from mollies in a ten gallon, they can get pretty big, and if they have fry, they could easily over stock the tank..

tetras or dwarf platies will give the appearance of color, and look more full than 2-3 mollies in one tank.
