Hey all. I currently have a very boring 20 long in my room, and I'm tired of having nothing interesting to watch in it. Right now all that's in there is my beloved Bolivian Ram. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

thx

get polka dot loaches! they are sooo fun to watch, and maybe some gouramis or a siamese fighting fish, also get some shrimps, i have yamatos in mine and they just make you laugh, all loaches i have seen are fun to watch same with cories, all algae eating thing do funny things, also apparently kribs are good to watch, and are really colourfull aswell. u could get some sort of barb (a nice one lol) I'd say moonlight gouramis, there the only gourami i like lol.

You can add another Ram, a school of 6 Tetra's & a school of 5 Corydoras & you'll have a 24 hr entertainment tank.

I think what you should add is
3 More Bolivian Rams
8 Rummynose or Glowlight or Neon or Cardinal or Lemon Tetra or some Threadfin rainbowfish

thanks everyone! Great suggestions. I'm looking forward to a trip to the fish store.

I'm thinking of going with the 1 additional ram, 6 tetras of some sort, and 5 corys.

How would you all recommend adding these fish? I'm afraid that if I add a whole school of 6 tetras (septupleing the bioload) I might cause the tank to crash, but if I don't add the school in its entirety, the small group i'd normally feel comfortable adding (maybe three)would be stressed.

Am I just being paranoid?

Six tetras produce about as much waste as one Bolivian Ram, so it should be fine to add all the tetras at once.
