what would you stock a 20 gallon with? I'm thinking either community or tang. chichlids. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Community;
2 blue/bolivian rams
6 tetras (I like diamonds)
6-8 cories
2 MALE platies

I think that might work, what do you think & what fish do you like?

I'm already doing rams and bloodfins in a 10,. I was wondering if they're were any other biotopes other than the centerpiece/tetra/cory community tank, or the tang. species tank.

Shelldwellers will work very well in a twenty gallon. You could do multis or brevis, go to shelldwellers.com and click on species, and have a look, what do you like?

A planted invert tank, perhaps. Or maybe a predetor tank(puffers, butterfly fish, leaf fish, etc).

I'll do graffiti,
If you sing to me in French.

Little Mousling brought me up to speed with the shellies . I'm thinking a colony on multies and a brichardi. But, I'd rather have multies in a 10 and do something else in the 30. I was thinking of any ideas you guys have away from those two ideas(or a yellow lab mawali species tank, got that suggestion too). Communities are boring IMO, because everyone has them. In a 20, you couldn't really elaborate on a multi colony, only adding 2 - 3 rockdwelling fish, so I figure I'm better off with a multi species in a 10. If I don't go fish, I'll get a leopard lizard (very rare) for the 20.

EDIT: katie sneaked up on me while I was typing .
I like figure 8 puffers (dwarf puffers aren't sold anywhere near me). But, 1 figure 8 in a 20 is pushing it, let alone adding more fish. Leaf fish is a maybe. You can see, I'm not psyched about setting this up.

You can get a pair of Brichardi with lots of rocks & hopefully they'll spawn.
If not, go with a SA setup with Rams, Tetra's & Corydoras.
