I want to do something sand like -- i dont like colored rock and want something finer anywho... Any suggestions? (and what would be a good tank mate for 2 angels in a 29G) |

The Corydoras would like the Sand. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ Last edited by jasonpisani at 15-Sep-2005 14:29 http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Depends how natural you want it to look. Fine sand would be better for the plants that angels seem to enjoy trying to look inconspicuous against. The angels will be fine with any number of substrates since they dont spend a huge mount of time interacting with it- just choose what suits other factors in the tank the best. |

Pour some vinegar on a brushed Rock & if it fizzes, it's not good, but if nothing happens, it's fine. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
