zachjc_14![]() Enthusiast Posts: 205 Kudos: 211 Votes: 24 Registered: 20-Apr-2004 ![]() | I have a 29 that is ready for approximately 2 angels and subsequently void of any aquascaping known to mankind. Any suggestions? I would like to incorporate driftwood and terra cotta/ clay pots, and no real plants. Also any more suggestions for smaller schooling fish for the tank? THanx in advance. |

If you want a BN, you need some Bogwood for him aswel. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/album?.dir=b5f2 http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Are you looking for multiple schools of fish, or a large school of smaller fish, or what? Without knowing that, I can't give you the perfect solution. I can, however, point out some nice Characins. Many kinds of pencilfish would do fine in that tank, as long as you do have some planting (fake plants are okay). Some of the smaller tetras, like flames, lemons, or penguins would work, and would not nip at the angelfish. As for decoration, I definitely suggest some drift/bogwood. That will add a natural look to the tank. You can go with a rock/plant formation as well, perhaps stacking them on top of each other to make stairs, or creating a cave. It is limited only by your imagination. |

You can try cardinals/ neon but many people do not like to take that risk that the fish might get eaten. You can try to raise the cardinals/ neons up with the angels so that the angels will learn not to eat the neon. Though i have heard that if the cards/neons die your replacements will/may get eaten. Another tetra you could try is the rummynose tetra. They get a little bigger than neons but they need superb water quality so unless you will take care of your water you might as well not try these fish. ==fish1 |

They are in with 2 very slow veil angels, one of which has a 6-7 inch fin. Not one nip. The profile says they will horas each other, and I assume others in the tank, if kept in large schools. I'll keep an eye on them tho... Thanks |

Also I was wondering if I could include a rainbow or rtbs shark? If not what other active bottom feeder/catfish other than cory cats (alredy have them) would you suggest. I was thinking maybe upside doen catfish. |

Perhaps a Hoplo cat would be a cool bottom dweller for you. Its not really a botton dweller but maybe you can put in a ram or two? Im pretty sure ottos will be fine in that setup too. |
