Im probably going to get a new 29 gal fish tank.... but I definatly havent decided what to put in there. Im thinking a really heavily planted tetra tank, which I had b4 and was awsome.(and I have xtra co2 equip, flourite and stuff.) I might also get puffers or something. Salt water isnt out of the question but I already have a 55gal SW and moving into a 75gal (And nano tanks end up being pretty lame) I like the natural look... Ideas wanted!

heres a link to see my old 20 gal plant tank.

you've got plenty of hiding spots, why not try a couple small cichlids? kribs are an awesome fish.

A 29g is 18" high so keep that in mind for plants.

Personally I'd go with one angel, a nice-sized school of harlequin rasboras, a school of cories (C. trilineatus are my favorites ), and a BN.

Go with 3 different schools of Tetras & a school of Corydoras + 1 BN, with lots of Plants & a piece of Driftwood.

riri I dont think yours would work.. I think if the kribs want to breed theyd kill everything in the tank But im not sure

~
2 med-sized Gouramis
2 rams
2 keyhole cichlids
6 Tetras
& 4 yoyo loaches

Might work But Im not sure

A fw puffer community!!!
I dont really know the temprament of puffers, but I think you could try,

10 Dwarf Puffers
& 4 yoyo loaches or 8 cories or one pleco

Go with the basic south american setup.
2 rams (bolivian or blue)
8 tetras
1 BN

Its very basic but its one of the best for smaller tanks.

A better basic set up would probably be...

8 Tetras
6 Cory's
2 Rams
1 BN

But that's too crowded on the bottom. The bn and coried are bottom feeders and the rams usually stick down there two. The tetras are the only mid-water fish there. I say drop the bn or the cories and get a 2nd tetra school or a gourami or something. The top is too empty.
