Id go with 2 angels and a school of maybe Cardnail tetras or another type of tetra. Also id get 6 cories for the bottom and some ottos. I'd say two filters will do great.

How tall is your tank? Angels should be kept in tanks taller than 18 inches. I'd also keep only a pair, and tetras and corys woul dbe perfect tankmates. Large angels may eat very small tetras, but there are larger species like rummynoses, lemons, diamond, black neons, etc. that are a bit too large for angels to consider food. They like to lay eggs on broad-leaved plants like swords.
Small or veil-finned angels may have a hard time with a lot of current, especially if it's near the surface, but there are some filters that cause very little water movement, and I would use one of these that is rated for a 50 gal or larger tank instead of two smaller filters. An AquaClear or bio-wheel filter may be your best bet.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

its a tall tank
not sure the inches but i know its tall
when u say pair do u mean m/f
the one filter is a penquin 125 the other is the whisper 30

so could i put a pearl gouramis in the tank?
or could i even put a betta in the tank?

Bettas and angels rarely mix well. More often than not, trouble arrises.

Pearl gouramies are more apt to be cited as angel compatible than other similar sized species. I would avoid blues, moonlights, threespots etc.
