If your looking to get school I'd go with the smaller tetras like cards or neons. Id stick to getting a nice variety of much smaller fish, much more interesting in the long run. Angels are predators but have small mouths , a lot of gouramies would be too big for them to eat , but by the same token gouramis can be territorial, it can be done but probably isnt the happiest mix. Gouramis are notorious carriers of a parasite called Hexamita (sp?) and Angels are very susceptible to it....difficult to treat to. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." ![]() |
