what cichlid or cichlids would be acceptable for a 29g tank, and maybe a bottom fedder?

I had a pair of Neolamprologus Brichardi & 2 Yoyo Loaches together for a year, without any problems. The Brichardi also breeded a couple of times.

Not much with an Oscar in a 75 gal. Take care with the BN, as he might be eaten when the Oscar gets fully grown.

For the 29 gal. you can also go for Rams or Angels & Corydoras.

For your 29 gallon I personally would go with...

2 Bolivian Rams (pair)
6 Panda Cory's
10 Cardinal Tetras

but that's just me
