fishyhelper288![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | ok i am reducing my fish stock to make room for new and different schools of fish that i have beed eagerly waiting for! and on thursday i am going to my favorite fish store and will be bringing along a few bags of fishies. ok, i know the goldfish and sunfish are going (see ya!)![]() so that will leave a WHOLE 20 gallon empty and it now has a thick coating of brown algae on it, so the ottos will be stuffin their faces, hopefully with some buddies ![]() in my 20 long i have 13 assorted corys after i bring the fish back, all but 6-9 will be moved to the other 20 gallon. also in that tank i have 2 young cichlids (i suspect a pair)a pair of bettas, 2 zebra danios (will be upped in school size and will be moved to the other tank) one male guppy that i still have to catch and move to the 10 gallon. i have 2 male rainbows in there too, i have to get more. also i have 2 plecos, one will sell to a friends boyfriend, and the other i will keep (clown) the 3 ottos will move to the other tank as well.... i had my eye on some silver tip tetras and harlies too, the 10 gallon will be mostly empty in the end too, and im setting up a 29 gallon..soon (meaning after i clean it and fill it ) but what else can go into those tanks![]() |
bettachris![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 ![]() | i suggest trying to get a school of cardinals for the 29 gallon. it would add a nice colorful school with the other fish, given the color of the guppie and the rainbows it should complanment it nicly with the red and the neon blue. also if u feel you have room a pair of clown killies would add a splash of color in the tank for upper range. but the only thing to worry about is the mid section as that may be too much for the upper section of the tank. ![]() |
