hey i have a full sized green sevrum and a 6" rotkeil sevrum
and they have decided to breed with each other

they have done this a few times but this time i removed the eggs from the tank and put them into a fish bowl with an air pump runnin

i guess my only question right now is do i need to heat the water that is in the fish bowl?
or is it gonna be ok?
thx

Someone around here probably does, but it might take a while for them to get to your post.
Best of luck with the eggs.

They belong to the same species (Heros efasciatus) which means they can produce viable fry.

The thing I would be concerned about is the temperature change when you moved them to the bowl.

heres a pic on the internet : http://www.peifc.com/Our_fish/Severum/Green/113-1395_IMG.JPG . Viable eggs are an amber color
