i might be wrong about this, but isn't it possible to have a school of RTBS? i wouldn't mind a school of them and a few other fishies, because im guessing a school of RTBS would take up most of the room.

Cheers

Heres a pic of my Twig Catfish, its a Female. If it were a male, it would have fuzzy little hairs on its "snout"

Heres a pic of a twig cat (not mine)
sucking on the glass, I love their little snouts

And what about keyholes..http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mile_rd_8ball/album?.dir=/3093
or the albino RTS http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mile_rd_8ball/album?.dir=/9066

I have also heard if you keep 6 or more the aggression is shared and there is less chance of dominace from one fish.
Just something I heard.

ok kind of narrowing it down a little now

Ok i want a RTBS i used to have one, and it was my lil buddy.

Now i want a biggish centrepiece fish, kind of want it to be peaceful as i want about 3 largish schools around the centrepiece and RTBS, ill probably get a couple of good ole bristle for the algae.

Cheers

Ok, ive been out of the game for a couple of months like 5 months to be precise.

Now i want to start up again and are wanting some suggestions for a new tank stocking list.

Now don't worry about my taste, i want to know what YOU would put in a 55usgal tank if it was YOURS.

Any suggestion is a winner, sorry no prize though

If able to, could you put the amount of each fish you would put in it.

Some vital information about my tank;

Fake Plants, Cannister Filter 1200lph, gravel as substate, few rocks, water change will be weekly

cheers boys & girls

Have you considered invertebrates? I might employ any of the following communities:

A) Eight Macrobrachium assamense]http://www.petshrimp.com/redclawshrimp.html[/link]; One [link=Atya gabonensis]http://www.wirbellose.de/arten.cgi?action=show&artNo=030[/link]; ~one dozen assorted Caridina spp.; a handful of triops (Triops sp.) / several Neritina spp. (particularly those depicted [link=here]http://www.mimbon.de/crusta/CRW_6269_RT8.jpg.jpeg[/link], [link=here]http://www.mimbon.de/crusta/Stripe.jpg[/link], [link=here]http://www.mimbon.de/crusta/snail23523.jpg[/link], and [link=here]http://www.mimbon.de/crusta/Stripe.jpg[/link]) / or four [link=miner snails.

B) Six iridescent Papuan river leeches over worn cobble.

C) One [link=http://www.mimbon.de/crusta/Macro8.jpg]http://"Macrobrachium sp. aus Thailand"[/link], with Rift Lake-style rockwork and Exoterra "Amber" River Sand sand substrate.

D) Six Peruvian alpheids and several dozen Caridina spp., with pool filter sand substrate and a dense "lawn" of filamentous grass-analogues at the tank periphery.

E) Three Malawi blue crabs, Potamonautes orbitospinus.
