Just got myself a 30 gallon tank set up that I plan on moving my pair of 3 spot gouramis in. Just wanted your opinion's on some potential tank mates for them. These pair get along great and have already mated a couple times. Completely on their own and unfortunately none of the fry survived. they are going into the new take by themselves. the only thing i have planned on for sure are some sort of pleco and some otto cats.

thanks!

What about something like:
2 blue gouramis
1 bristle nose pleco
8 panda corys
8 tetras
4 ottos
OR
2 blue gouramis
6 corys
6 tetras
6 tetras
3 ottos

either of these sound good?

I have an opaline gourami (which is a color variation of the blue spot) and she gets along great with the following: 6 cherry barbs, 10 harlequin rasboras, 6 platies, and my L-318 pleco.

Any of those fish will work, just some ideas. She looks really striking with the rasboras and 3 of my platies are blue mickey mouse.....it is very striking to see them together.

blue gouramies are rather big, and like most gourmais get aggressive during breeding, so i would stay with bottom fish, such as cories. and maybe a ram.

Add a school of Corydoras with your Gouramis.
