What do you like?

Your options are pretty numerous. What I would do is hit the local fish store, write the names of the fish that you like and bring them back here.

I'll do graffiti,

When you are looking/selecting at fish at several aquariums. Ask about the size of fish when fully grown, also what goes with what, water temperatures, and how many per tank. Finally the cost, you might also consider the cost of all the extras you will require as well.

If they give you some good advice and attention it could be a good sign they know what they are talking about. If they are not interested in you just walk out and go elsewhere.

Armed with all that info certainly come back and ask lots more questions.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

You can have a school of Corydoras & a big school of Tetra's.
You can also decorate it with Sand, Driftwood & Plants.

Buenos aires and most other tetras would fit in a tank that size. Most are very hardy. Livebearers are also a colorful and hardy type of fish. I would take a look at our profiles and name the species that catch your eye.

Good luck!

Those fish are all compatible, but the congo tetras would get to big to live well in that sized tank.

Buenos aires are nice, as are the penguin (hockey stick) tetras I think they'd look nice in with some emperors
