hey everyone,

as many of you are aware in the coming days i'll be setting up a 55g, hurry up the 23rd!!

anyways i want to go for big and peacefull. what would the biggest fish i could get for a 55g that wouldn't harm another others i might add in the future?

i'm open to any kind.. so guys throw your ideas at me!

What are the others that you going to put in there. Salvini, severums, blue acaras, and firemouths are neither big nor peaceful.

well i would think that the fish choosen, pref a pair would be the centre fish and i'd add stocking around my choice. i asked abotu peacfull becasue i know that i don't have alot of room in a 55g, so territories arnt as important.

They all grow over 6" and are peaceful enough to keep with most fish.


Edit: If you are going to get a pair don't get a male and female of any cichlids besides dwarf species because if they spawn they will become aggressive.
