Would this be a good idea for a 55 gallon?

15 Cardinal Tetras
15 Glowlight Tetras

8 Panda Cory's
or
a BN Pleco

6 Juevenile Blue Rams(will try to get 2 pairs and return the other 2)
and/or
4 Bolivian Rams (try to get 1 pair and return the other 2)

I have heard that if you break up the line of site of the cichlids that they will only establish a small territory.

If any of the pairs breed would this cause a problem if their territories did not overlap?

Would i need caves for the Blue Rams or are they like Bolivians and don't use caves?

Would the Blue Rams bother the Panda Cories or are they also similair to Bolivian rams in this way (used to keep bolivian rams and panda cories together with no problems)

Any way, all suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated

I think you may be pushing it a bit with that amount of fish. However I do think the species would do fine togather. Maybe cut doen the schools to 10 or 12 and just go with 4 rams to start. I've kept german rams with cories and have had no problems.

to many tetras. cut to maybe 9 of each type. my rams don't like caves. mines like java moss and driftwood. i don't see any problem between rams, and cories.

I would choose:
20 Cardinal Tetras
6 Panda Cory's
2 Bolivian Rams (pair)
6 Hatchet fish
6-8 Ottocinclus Affinis

Tips:
Rams may start picking even on the Cory's when spawning! (not to mention the other pair of Ram's!, and imagine spawning simultaneously!)

15 Glowlight Tetras??? I don't usually mix-up schooling fish of the same zone for aesthetic reasons...

Tetras have a tiny bioload and looking at your other fish there isnt a problem with too much waste. I think you would be ok with 15 of each and it will look fantastic with nice big schools!

Do note though that your tank will be complete.

I know i would be done, that would be my final stocking list

And like I said earlier, if cichlids have a broken line of site they will only establish a small territory. So based on that information would the 2 pairs be fine?

Ok so after these comments I think I will try...

20 Cardinal Tetras
8 Panda Cory's (Havn't had problems keeping them with Rams previously)
2 Blue Rams (Pair)
2 Bolivian Rams (Pair)
and a BN Pleco

Ok any experienced Ram keepers have any problems with keeping 2 pairs of different Rams in the same tank?

Bare in mind it is a 55 gallon tank with heavy planting on the bottom.

10 Cardinal Tetras
10 Glowlight Tetras
8 Panda Corydoras
1 BN Pleco
4 Bolivian Rams.

I would try this setup with lots of Plants & Driftwood.
