I read that blue tetras like to be by themselves/I don't know about the <br>. I didn't add them, they just appeared.

You are 100% right, in fac I wouldn't add any more tetras! If you really feel you have too, definitely no more than 3, but it looks like you already know this. Good for you!

Hmmm...I wouldnt add that betta if I were you. Tetras and bettas don't mix in my experience.

It depends which "blue tetra" it is. If it is Cochu's Blue Tetra, Columbian Red and Blue Tetra or a dyed White Skirt Tetra, it is best kept in a group. If it is a Blue Emperor Tetra, then it is fine if kept alone.
