I was thinking an aggersive tank still wont decide on it the old old one

1-oscar
6-pictus catfish
1-chinnes alge eater
1-sailfin pleco
2-firemouth cichlids
1-texas cichlid

it is a weird combo

IMO it's weird & overstocked. I like something more ordinary & easy.

for a 55, imo, an oscar alone with maybe a catfish is about all you can have. if you want oscars, you better like them because you cannot stock them with other fish, at least for very long, before you get problems

You would need a bigger tank for that stocking, and IMHO try replace the oscar as he will eventually eat anything that fits in its mouth.

Usual tank mates with an oscar are jack dempseys, terrors, common pleco (when large), silver dollars (when large) and fish that will grow bigger then an oscars mouth, height is more important then width IME.

What evryone said is very right.
if you want an agressive 55 gallon i would go with
-2 firemouths
-2 CAE
-2 ABF ( african butterfly fish )
-1 or 2 BN's
-10 or so Tiger Barbs

Oscars are messy and need plenty of space. The sailfin can potential grow nearly the length of the tank itself. You need a much bigger tank to house all those fish. Even if you drop the oscar and sailfin it still seems a bit cramped especially for agressive fish. I also wouldn't put two CAE in a 55g. Aside from the fact that would be 2 potentially 12" fish they are agressive toward each other when grown.
