I like something more ordinary & easy. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Usual tank mates with an oscar are jack dempseys, terrors, common pleco (when large), silver dollars (when large) and fish that will grow bigger then an oscars mouth, height is more important then width IME. |

The sailfin can potential grow nearly the length of the tank itself. You need a much bigger tank to house all those fish. Even if you drop the oscar and sailfin it still seems a bit cramped especially for agressive fish. I also wouldn't put two CAE in a 55g. Aside from the fact that would be 2 potentially 12" fish they are agressive toward each other when grown. |
