I have a 5 gallon, and I put a 4 inch bubble stick in. I put it under the filter (internal) and I was wondering if some bubbles going up the intake will mess anything up??

Hi,
I don't know what type of tank/filter it is, but I can offer
some generalities. If the intake is an upsidedown U, then
the bubbles can become trapped in the upper curve, and as
they accumulate, slow the water flow down to nothing.

Generally speaking, it is always a good idea to have the
source of any bubbles (airstone, wand, curtain, etc.) placed
away from the intakes of any filter.

It might or it might not, but it is better to move it away rather than take a chance.

Silly thing is, I dont think it will fit anywhere else it is a 6 sided tank, would it be okay if I slightly burry it under the gravel in the middle? I do have a back-up valve just in case.

If not I am going to have to use an airstone, for this tank I hate how it looks.

Thanks for the help.
