| 5 gallon and bubble stick | |

If the intake is an upsidedown U, then the bubbles can become trapped in the upper curve, and as they accumulate, slow the water flow down to nothing. Generally speaking, it is always a good idea to have the source of any bubbles (airstone, wand, curtain, etc.) placed away from the intakes of any filter. I do have a back-up valve just in case. If not I am going to have to use an airstone, for this tank I hate how it looks. Thanks for the help. Angel Eel ![]() |
