Just watch the Nitrates, if they start climbing you will need to do larger water changes. Here are a couple of links. http://www.microgravity-systems.com/hymenochirus/englishversion/general.htm http://aquaticfrogs.tripod.com/id8.html |

They are just simply far to small. I have had to rescue the little geeks several times from choking on food too big for them- items much much smaller than a Neon. If your ADFs are hunting fish - perhaps you are not feeding them enough ..... ![]() ADFS do not at a lot to the bioload at all. I have no proof but my exclamation point rasboras mysteriously disappeared while living with an ADF. [link=This link]http://www.allaboutfrogs.org/info/mypets/dwarfs.html" style="COLOR: #FFCC99[/link] has some good ADF info. They eat & poop so they will add to the bioload. They're not bottom feeders though and can sometimes be picky about what they eat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Two Tanks![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Big Fish Posts: 449 Kudos: 328 Votes: 13 Registered: 02-Jun-2003 ![]() | If you are looking for something to clean up algae, I would go with a couple of ottos (otocinclus affinis). They stay tiny -- less than two inches, and are really good for algae problems. If you had a larger tank, I would suggest panda cories (a bottom feeder to help with the food clean up) -- but not enough room in your ten gallon with the fish you mention. The shrimp should work for you, but keep the ones I mentioned in mind -- perhaps later on. |
