How large are the adult cherry shrimps? I've seen ADF's take down small neons and Endler's before. A full grown one might be to much even for your adults. They will most definitely eat the shrimp young, however, if the adults keep producing them and there are enough plants and cover for them to hide and survive in, you may get a couple survivors every few broods or so. Kinda morbid, but its free(and healthy) food for your frogs.

If worse comes to worse, you could always move the frogs to a seperate mini tank. Most come with some filtration, are relatively cheap, and are good homes as long as the temperature at your house doesn't shift much or isn't to low.

well.. the cherry shrimp are pretty small -------- long tops.. and the babies are --- when i can finaly see them(i think before that they hide and are near transparent).

I guess i could do a test run in a 10g tank and put a few babies in thier with an adf.. see what happens. either way i guess ill wait a while to let the current population build a bit in the 90g before i add an animal im not 100% sure about..

THnks for the feed back Capt'n

ADF = African Dwarf Frog

Actually, a 90 gallon tank is too big for a ADF. They are small animals and they are not that powerful. They also breath air, so they need to come to the surface often. A 90 gallon tank is very tall and it may be too much work for a frog to constantly swim to the top. As a rule of thumb, you ADF tank should not be more than a foot high. With a 90 gallon tank, there is so much more you could do other than frogs and shrimp.
