And about the only "bottom feeder" that would work in there would be shrimp. I'm in the midst of writing up an article on small tank stocking... take a look for some ideas: [link=http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/General%20Freshwater/55574.html?200503081755]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/General%20Freshwater/55574.html?200503081755" style="COLOR: #9900FF[/link] ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

If you have lots of plants, that greatly increases your options. You could have a couple female bettas, a trio of Endler's livebearers, or a trio of cherry barbs. If you are interested in catfish, a pair of Honeycomb Tatia cats would do well in that tank. But these suggestions are only for heavily planted tanks, and weekly water changes would be necessary. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Take a look at this link Cory_Di shows just how well a 2.5 gallon is for a betta... [link=Cory_Di]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Advanced%20Betta%20Care/55967.html" style="COLOR: #ccc6cb[/link] And If you want your neons to truly be happy they need room to move and swim together...and the more you have in a school the happier they will be...and you will need more room for the more neons... Here is a picture of my 125 with some of my neons and emperors...(altogether 32, though they aren't all pictured here.)--Heidi heidi attached this image: ![]() "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." smantzer![]() Big Fish Posts: 378 Kudos: 347 Votes: 10 Registered: 02-Nov-2004 ![]() | You can't add any neons or "bottom feeders". Since endlers and killis aren't as easy to come by, chances are, just a betta and maybe some shrimp (though my betta mutilated them) ...and just out of curiosity... where are all these tanks coming from? You've made quite a few threads about tank stocking... |
