First new tank up and running excellent. Then the fun starts. Large RTBS suddenly dies, buy 12 Cardinal tetras, small ehiem impella stops masive spikes etc. 10 cardinals, & 2 Ottos die. Now new tank leaks. Replaced it and it is up and running. Second RTBS dies.

Now back to normal I hope.

That was really a bad week for you.
I had the same luck a few months ago with 16 deaths in 8 days.
Hope everything is fine now.

I had a string of bad luck a month ago where I lost 5 peacock cichlids to bloat in 2 weeks.

The RTBS were in the 5ft tank and the others was the new Betta 11g tank

I have had a similar experience, my skinny clown loach died, the frog died, my betta bailey died. all very sad.

and then the spray bar nightmare - that was a special moment in fish keeping!

so far all seems ok. but i have eveything crossed.

hope all is well with you now Keith!

Sorry tio hear about the problems Keith.

Any idea what happened to the RTBS'. You had them a long time, was it just old age ?

Bernard

He was alive and all ok and next morning dead. I have no idea how old he was as I rescued him from an Osca tank, when I got him his fins were torn and his colour was a pale grey. He was about 4&1/2ins long. He was actually the boss of the tank and very much controlled his own area, yet at feeding time never a problem. He just chased the others and never actually touched them.
