I was on aquabid.com and looking for some cories and I found this ad:

I could not believe they were advertising the fact that they did this cruel practice to fish!! This is sooo sad! I feel so bad for these adorable corydoras!

I'm more suprised AQUABID doesn't have some sort of code of ethics that could get such auctions pulled!

I have just lost a lot of respect for them

That is just horrible.. There has to be some kind of cruelty laws for fish.. About a week ago, i was in a bar that was playing some kind of "back-yard wrestling" type of movie.. and the starting pulling big fish out of a tank and biting there heads off. I got up paid my tab and left. I couldnt ID the fish from the quick glance i had.. and didnt really feel like watching. but this was like a 8-12" catfish.. and there we two other guys holding there fish and waiting for their turn.. I couldnt have been more discusted. Im glad to see hobbiest who have the same compation for animals of all sizes.. a 2" cory has the same rights as a dog in my opinion.

Sorry for going of but i really wonder about the laws on fish cruelty if their even are any.

hmmmmmmmm, wot is the bloody point in dyin fish?, i mean most of them r colourful enuf, i feel sorry 4 all those fish that have suffered the pain

That is awful! I know I had to explain to Angela (aparker) why she doesn't what these "beautiful" type fish...and even as a new fish lover she lost it
