Just need some advice on stocking my 56gal aquarium.

I intend to stock it with the following:

3 x Zebra Upsidedown Catfish

4 x Panda Corydias Catfish

1 x Peppermint Bristlenose Catfish

1 x Spotted Pictus Catfish

Need some ideas for mid level swimming species that are compatible to level it out.

Thanks guys!!!!

Only part I can comment on is the pictus.

They're schooling fish and need a larger tank than what you have. They're very active fish and need plenty of room to swim. They'll also eat anything and everythign they can catch and fit in their mouths .

have you thought about rainbows?
u could also try a school of tiger barbs...
then there's some bigger fish like giant danios... if you do get the giants, i wouldn't recommend getting any other fish (other than the ones you already have or will have) b/c they're big and move around a lot so they'll completely draw your attention away from any other fish you get.
like said b4, white clouds would be cool... a huge school of them would look great.
you could also try some sort of tetra... might i suggest rummynoses or blind cave... serpaes, diamonds, bleeding hearts, etc are nice too.
the list goes on...

try looking at this site. they have really good pictures of fish and they're categorized easily.
