	African Community Fish?
Fish Guy Mega Fish Posts: 1091 Kudos: 1254 Votes: 2 Registered: 28-Jan-2004	I hav a 55 gallon with a walking catfish in it, i was wondering if there are at all any schooling fish from africa other then cichlids?

There are plenty of tetras from Africa, such as the Congo and jellybean tetras. However, your catfish (Clarias batrachus, right?) is going to get big, probably too big for that tank. Plus, it will be able to gobble up any little schooling fish you want to keep with it. I think they're supposed to be kept alone. I think you should worry more about the catfish itself than about what other fish will go in the tank.
