There are plenty of tetras from Africa, such as the Congo and jellybean tetras. However, your catfish (Clarias batrachus, right?) is going to get big, probably too big for that tank. Plus, it will be able to gobble up any little schooling fish you want to keep with it. I think they're supposed to be kept alone. I think you should worry more about the catfish itself than about what other fish will go in the tank. Last edited by sirbooks at 28-Jul-2005 15:31 |

I also think that Congo Tetra's are the only African schooling fish. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
