	Algae on rocks.
Darthannihl8or Enthusiast Posts: 206 Kudos: 140 Votes: 20 Registered: 27-Apr-2003	I have some green alge on my rocks that my pleco and gibbecep won't eat which leads me to think it must be hair algae. What can I put in a tank with large cichlids that will eat this stuff. The cichlids (Oscars, Jaguar, Severums) aren't that large with the biggest being about 15cm.

They are quick and tough fish, so the cichlids hopefully wouldn't bother them too much. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	try just cleaning the rock. it isn't nesscary to add a fish every time u have any algae problem. but if u really need a fish, try getting ???. idk what to tell u. the fishes that u said, i am guessing are large, would eat a molly. try just cleaning the rock.
